About the organisation

Shoqata bamirëse "Jetimat e Ballkanit" is a humanitarian association based at Bekim Muhaxheri 18, Prizren, Kosovo. It supports orphans and families in need across the Balkans through projects such as shelter, school supplies, food, and medical aid.

By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.

Eligibility

To use the app you must be at least 18 and entitled to use the payment method you give with.

Donations

• Donations are voluntary charitable contributions. You are not buying any goods or services and you receive nothing in return.
• Amounts are charged in euro. If your account is in another currency, PayPal performs the conversion at its own rate.
• Payments are processed by PayPal. By donating you also accept PayPal’s terms. We never see your card details.
• The association allocates funds to the most urgent needs of the project you chose. If a project closes or exceeds its goal, funds move to the project closest to the original purpose.

Refunds

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you gave by mistake, gave twice, or entered the wrong amount, write to info@jetimat.org within 14 days of the donation and we will review the request. Approved refunds are issued through PayPal, back to the account you paid from.

Your profile

The app creates no account and asks for no password. The name and number you enter stay on your device and serve to personalise the app and your confirmations. You are responsible for their accuracy.

Notifications

If you turn notifications on, you will receive updates about projects and about your donations. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your device settings.

Fair use

Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, do not attempt to reach systems that are not yours, and do not load the service with automated requests. Messages you attach to a donation should be fit for our staff to read.

Availability and liability

The app is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and we may change or discontinue it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the app or from service interruptions. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

The app and the App Store

These terms are between you and the association, not between you and Apple. Apple has no maintenance or support obligation for the app and is not responsible for claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kosovo. The courts of Prizren have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above changes, and for material changes we also tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
